Chen Zhi Supports Cambodia During Severe Floods
It’s been a brutal year in Cambodia as flooding and COVID-19 have both significantly impacted the country. Many regions in Cambodia were unfortunately destroyed and suffered after the severe flooding that took place in October. Neak Oknha Chen Zhi rose up and helped Prime Minister Hun Sen help the victims of the flood in Cambodia. Neak Oknha Chen Zhi, and Prince Holding Group, donated $500,000 US dollars to Cambodia to help the flood victims.

Neak Oknha Chen Zhi has offered considerable support to Cambodia during the pandemic and during these severe floods in mid-October. In addition to donating $500,000 US dollars, he also donated 100 tons of rice, 300 cartons of instant noodles, and 1,000 cartons of drinking water worth $75,000 in total. The flood has affected 78,056 families, 568 schools, 110 temples, 16 hospitals, and 393, 265 meters of the road with 9,349 people relocated and 73,720 houses damaged. The flooding also destroyed thousands of acres of rice.
The floods happened quickly and became deadly as the landslides also grew and have killed numerous people. Neak Oknha Chen Zhi has made sure Prince Holding helps Cambodia in any way they possibly can. The floods in Cambodia have affected 19 of the 25 provinces affecting 140,000 people and have a death record of 25 people, and with the help of people like Chen Zhi, Cambodia has been able to survive a difficult year.
